Diligent Mary

　　Sarah: How are you doing, Mary? Why do you look so stressed out?

　　Mary: I’m going crazy studying for the TOEFL exam, my American culture test, and my English literature class.

　　Sarah: What is that all for?

　　Mary: I plan to go to the US to further my education next year. So I have to pass all these exams in order to be accepted by good universities.

　　Sarah: You are such a diligent student. But hey, health is better than wealth, OK?

　　Mary: What do you mean?

　　Sarah: Come on. You look so exhausted. You need some more sleep and definitely more nutritious food.

　　Mary: That is true. I only sleep about 4 hours a day and I don’t remember last time I ate.

　　Sarah: And Mary, I’m afraid that I have to tell you: You are breaking out.

　　Mary: What? … Oh no! All these new pimples!

　　Sarah: It’s all because of stress. Maybe you need set aside some time to relax happening for yourself.

　　Mary: Yeah, I guess I should lie down on the bed and get some rest.

　　Sarah: That’s a good idea! And go back to studying after you get some sleep…. Mary?

　　Mary: Zzzzzzzz ….

　　莎拉：玛丽，你最近怎么样？看上去好像压力很大的样子。

　　玛丽：我快被托福考试、美国文化测验和英国文学课弄疯了。

　　莎拉：能告诉我这都是为了什么吗？

　　玛丽：明年我计划去美国留学深造。所以我得通过这些考试，才能申请到好学校。

　　莎拉：你真用功啊。但是健康比财富重要哦！

　　玛丽：什么意思？

　　莎拉：你看起来很累。你需要多休息，多吃有营养的食物。

　　玛丽：没错。我每天只睡四个小时。我已经不记得上次吃东西是什么时候了。

　　莎拉：玛丽，我得告诉你，你会崩溃的。

　　玛丽：什么？哦，不！我又长了好多痘痘！

　　莎拉：这都是压力造成的。你应该找时间放松一下。

　　玛丽：没错，我想我应该躺下来休息一会儿。

　　莎拉：这是个好主意。睡饱之后再继续学习吧！玛丽？

　　玛丽：呼……
